The Proform CS19e treadmill model has received very little buzz in the industry thus far and seems to
offer an array of options for a reasonable price. The Proform CS19e does price out a little higher than many of the company’s other models.
The Proform CS19e treadmill is made by Icon, and is just one
of the many treadmills in the company’s overall line. Proform’s models,
despite their corporate backing, have not stacked up well against the
competition. Icon is the maker of such lines of fitness equipment as
NordicTrack, Image and Weslo. The company has about 4,000 employees in 11
locations around the world and does carry a 25-year plus track record.
Features of the CS19e Model
The CS19e model, part of Proform’s Elite series, comes with a
2.0 HP motor, a four window console, a quick speed control, a pulse sensor and a
cooling fan. It offers running speeds of 0 to 12 miles per hour, a 0 to 10
percent incline, an impressive 16 built-in workout programs, a 20-by-60-inch
tread belt, cushioning, space saver features and more. The treadmill retails for about $1,000.

The problem with the Proform CS19e is the warranty.
Information on what backs the machine is not readily available on the
manufacturer’s site or in its product specifications. However, Proform is
notorious for its standard 3-2-1 Tread Warranty. This covers the treadmill motor for three
years, all parts for two years and labor for a year. This particular feature
counts as major points off for most Proform models compared to warranties
offered by competitors that range from 10 years on the motor to even a lifetime
on all parts.
Our Advice
Although there isn’t a lot of information on the Proform CS19e
treadmill model available as of yet as far as customer satisfaction reviews go,
the company’s other treadmills haven’t always received the best reports for
quality, but professionals give the company’s many offerings decent ratings
for cushioning.
