Hands Free Speed Adjustments on Tunturi Treadmills
Tunturi Treadmills has once again proved itself a pioneer in the fitness
equipment market. Developed in Finland, the unique Position Speed
Control (PSC) feature is the most significant operational innovation in
treadmills since heart rate control.
PSC means mill speed adjustment without touching the user
interface buttons: track speed on Tunturi brand treadmills is automatically adjusted according to
the user’s position. The track accelerates when you walk or run to the
front, and slows when you step back. You maintain the pace you already
set by staying in the middle of the track
“PSC makes training on Tunturi machines even safer and more natural.
It’s easy to keep your running pace when you don’t need to adjust
the treadmill's track speed”, says Reijo Laaksonen, Sales and Marketing Director.
Tunturi has developed a variety of functions utilizing the PSC
feature in its J7 and J9 Tunturi treadmills (preset profile, standard heart rate
feature, manual exercise). These new treadmill models are compatible
with Tunturi T-Ware™ fitness testing and monitoring software.

model from Tunturi is 16 km/h, and the J9 can
reach as much as 18 km/h. Both models have electrical inclination
adjustment, and the J9 also offers a unique opportunity for downhill
exercising: track inclination can be adjusted between –2% - +10%.
Tunturi treadmills come with a Polar heart rate transmitter that makes
exercising safe and efficient. Both of these best rated treadmills are also available as
foldaway models, taking up less than one square meter in the storage
